Am I on the right track?
I am in a weird place today, churned out more stuff than for a while - got on a roll :) and quite pleased with it, like the last few pieces in my last post. BUT am I on the right track? Is this stuff samey, repetative, not very inspiring, safe? Self doubt is creeping up. I don't want back slapping but open real critique would be most welcome? Any takers? I may have something to give away to a random commenter when I return from holibobs

I think you maybe have further to go with the 'spirally' designs, but it's just like you say, you do what comes naturally and something will evolve from them. I really like the last one on your previous post, I think that one in particular shows evolution of design - totally love the mono print too and the other designs on that page (like the circular ones that look a wee bit like bobbin spools). I think you ARE going in the right direction and that it is probably just a bit of self doubt creeping in. Don't you find it always does when things are going well? That's what happens to me anyway lol. I think you are doing great but it's what you think deep down that counts eh. Just my thoughts but hope it helps a wee bit. xxx
I think you are on the right track Carol. It doesn't matter if you keep repeating stuff, exploring and delving further because that is what really gets you to the heart of what you're doing... and that is what gives inspiration for further projects! Enjoy your holiday!
