So grabbing the bull by the horns I decided to try out the sketchbook challenge after being very inspired by Jackie over at Stitchworks. This months theme is the moon and the stars so I dived right in with white crayon and black acrylic. Then worked in with biro taking inspiration from Van Goch.
It needed something extra so I added some red biro
I am quite pleased with my first effort! I started working on a second spread now using crayon and acrylic to start but then using stencils to paint through, print with and the cut away to create a negative and so far it looks like this :
I'm having fun so far!!!! Enjoying playing and not worrying!!!!
