New sketchbook- Lines and borders

I started a new sketchbook tonight on the theme of lines and borders. Hoping this gets me back into sewing! Need a mood board next!!!

Samples found and new things started

So grabbing the bull by the horns I decided to try out the sketchbook challenge after being very inspired by Jackie over at Stitchworks. This months theme is the moon and the stars so I dived right in with white crayon and black acrylic. Then worked in with biro taking inspiration from Van Goch. 

It needed something extra so I added some red biro

I am quite pleased with my first effort! I started working on a second spread now using crayon and acrylic to start but then using stencils to paint through, print with and the cut away to create a negative and so far it looks like this :

I'm having fun so far!!!! Enjoying playing and not worrying!!!! 

Lost

Hia all,
I have been so lost and work has been so mental. I don't quite know how to get back to blogging. My blog reader no longer exists so if anyone has ideas about a decent blog reader let me know. I want to get back to working on stuff but I have no idea where to begin, I haven't drawn, painted or stitched in so long it scares me a little. Any ideas or just stopping by to say hello would be greatly appreciated. Hate to do a post with out a pic! So here you go this is my fairly recent.

Hello I been MIA

I just realised how long it is since I posted here, really done a good job of hiding hey! I have nothing to report, I am working my butt off expecting inspection in school and have set up a new BTEC in Health. I am down 103lb now and train 6/7 times a week still. Ellie is 9 next month and life trundles on you know  - no textiles to report but when GCSE's end maybe I will. This is me now :

Waaaa! It's my bloggyversary and I nearly didn't even notice!

I nearly missed my bloggyversary! I haven't been a good place sewing wise lately, not in the mood ? Done some bread and butter selling of buntings and bags but nothing much.

I have been dieting and exercising again, and re llost my last stone, to be at my lowest weight - 5 stone off!!!! so I thought I'd show you : (hate a post with no pics and as I have nothing to show!!!!)

Got pink hair while I am off school, going in tomorrow so preparing for the looks/bollocking!

Stripes

Been playing with laura's stripy challenges - keeping me sane since craig's op has been a tough one - about 5 days of nursing and I am glad he is partially on the mend cause I am tired!!! That coupled with wisdom tooth extraction leaves me very tired today :( anyway here they are
