What I did on Saturday

On Saturday I gave my very first workshop. It was very nerve wracking as the group are much accomplished and I had a case of raging flu and was to be honest barely conscious at times!!!! These were my class samples. They were based on Fabric cones, like Ruth Rae did in QA, but with a Carol spin on things. I think everyone had fun despite me being a bit below par. Still off work today but starting to feel a little better. Ellie has her school concert today so I better be a little better!!!!!

Glad your work shop went well and do hope your better soon.
I'm very busy with sewing at school at the mo, infact it's a bit manic with lots of student projects.
Your cones look great.

The cones are beautiful Carol. I hope you soon get rid of that flu. Sounds like you should really be in bed for a few days. I hope you enjoyed the concert despite the flu.

Hi Carol, you have a very inspirational blog. I like to follow you, because I will take a fibre-in form workshop. These cones are great - I like the combination of beauty and usefull. If you like you can see and read my experiments on my other blog www.dovadi.web-log.nl/fiberfusing (btw I'm from the Netherlands)greetings Dorie

Oh it looks like wonderful fun!
I do hope you've bested the flu-bug & are running at top-full-creative-strength once again!!!

(wonder when your next workshop will be & how much the plane-ride would cost me? I do love to dream big!)
